Wish List 2014

I know everyone has been sharing their Christmas list, but I guess I'll just share my "list." ha! Sam and I aren't really doing Christmas presents this year, (although he surprised me with the new Iphone 6 plus! Love you honey! ) My parents are getting me the new Nikon D5200, I'm super excited about it! I pretty much just wanted a new phone and a new camera this Christmas! I am mainly just excited about going to Fiji for Christmas, so I could careless about anything else! I dooooo want to share some of my favorites with you right now, though.

 1. Sole Society has the most adorable leopard beanies! I want both of these so bad! How cute are they?

2.  I love these Ivanka Trump over the knee boots. I need a pair of suede ones, too! They're not a bad price either!
3. I love everything about these Sorel boots. I saw a fashion blogger blog about these several weeks ago, and I knew immediately that I needed them! I'm obsessed.

4. The adorable, Emily , over at The Sweetest Thing blogged about this adorable pink puffer vest. I must have it. She bought it at Shop Juliana's, so I will definitely be ordering this! It's still in stock! It's a great price, too!

What all are you wanting this holiday season?

Scenes from our Weekend

We had a great weekend! It was pretty low key, but I enjoyed it because I know this next week is going to be full of plans!

Friday night, We were both exhausted from such a busy, busy week, so we kept it simple and grabbed some dinner to go from across the street. It was downtown dining week in Memphis this past week, so we grabbed some steaks from Bardog across the street and came back home. We watched a movie in bed and fell asleep around 9:30. It has been glorious to not do much on Friday nights because I have my long runs on Saturday morning. There is nothing worse than being tired and trying to get in miles.

Saturday, My day started with eight miles with two of my best friends. We are all running the half together, so it was awesome to show them my route that I run downtown. It's much more fun and enjoyable to run together. We were able to talk and enjoy the weather. After we got in our run, Tara and I headed to do a little shopping. We had the American Red Cross Charity ball that night, so we wanted to wear something new. We both found some great things and headed home to get ready. Sam got home a little after me and we both enjoyed relaxing and watching the Ole Miss and Arkansas game, which we lost...boo! We had a great time Saturday night with friends, but all were exhausted the next day.

Sunday morning was full of clouds, rain, and wind... We were going to do brunch with friends, but decided to stay in and watch Christmas moves. I was so happy that we did. We ordered in take out, watched a few Christmas movies, got laundry done, and ended the night with a movie in bed. It was super nice to wake up Monday morning refreshed and ready to start my day.

I hope you all had a wonderful, wonderful weekend! Thanksgiving is here and I'm ready to eat and celebrate with friends and family!

Tara, me and Kenzey at the American Red Cross ball.

"LuLu Lemon is going to break me."

If you have an obsession with LuLu Lemon like I do, it's bad. I don't understand why I always catch myself going back to their website, but I do. I'm not one that can order one pair of running compression pants and call it a day....I literally have 8 or 9 items hanging out in my shopping bag and that's just a bad, bad thing. With all the running I have been doing, plus with the abundant amount of cold weather we have had, I NEED WINTER RUNNING CLOTHES. If you asked me in the Spring and summer to see my "warm" running clothes, I could open three dressers full of stuff...I still plan to run even after my half marathon is over on the 6th, so I want some items that I can use through the months of December, January, and February. Here are some things that I just feel I "need."

I love everything about this jacket. Plus it is stuffed
with 800 fill power goose down. This jacket would
DEFINITELY keep me warm in the extreme
winter months when I'm running outside.

I love these running pants because they are not
your particular "black." I would love to have these
in several different colors.

I need a new pair of black compression pants, too.
My other ones have pink on them.

I had my coldest run last Saturday and took a scarf
with me. I am SO, SO glad I did. If I started breathing
in too much cold air, I could pull my scarf over my face
until I was breathing normal again. I love, love this
one because it can be worn several different ways,
and comes up high around your neck and face.

Lets be honest.... I have zero running gloves.
I am not really quite sure why either because my hands
are ALWAYS the first thing to get cold. I love that they
are fleece, so they keep you extremely warm.

I love, love, love this idea. I like beanies, but I can
never put my hair in a ponytail because there is no
hole to stick your pony tail through. With this one,
you can wear it both ways! Genius!

Maybe I need to do some Christmas shopping for myself this year!

Condo Updates

Since the wedding, I have been trying to vamp up the condo some. I know we'll be here a little while longer because the market is just not good right now for condos. We finally decided that if it's not sold by the spring, we'll just rent it out and move on. We are ready for a bigger house, a yard, a dog, etc. I have LOVED being in the downtown area and living in such a fun place, but I'm ready for something new. It's time to move on, and the majority of our friends are now out east or in the 'burbs. Until then, I purchased a few new pieces. I can't wait to see how everything looks together!

I found this bedding at Macy's. It was on close out sale!  I also snagged it up with a 20% coupon. I had two $100.00 gift cards to use up, so I ended up not having to pay much at all out of my own pocket. How awesome is that? I purchased the duvet cover, the two euro shams, the cream colored blanket pillow, and ordered some other white sheets. I didn't care for the grey ones. New bedding is always exciting!

Here it is on our bed! All I'm waiting on is a decorative pillow to
come in, and I think we're in business! :)

I ordered this adorable Threshold Bar cart from Target. I love the gold color! My friend Katie blogged about it on her blog awhile back, and I knew I had to have it. I'm anxious to free up some of our cabinet space that is stocked with liquor! It will look great next to a little area in our kitchen!

Booties Love.

6pm is not good for me. I am constantly browsing their website. Their warehouse is in Lexington, so I always know if I order something that I will have it in a day or so. I have about four pairs of booties hanging out in my shopping bag right now. What I love about their website is it tells you how much you are saving and how much the percentage off it is. I don't feel so bad when I buy something because I am saving money, right?! :) HA! I had to share some of my favorites with you...

I know I need to narrow it down and just purchase a couple, but I honestly would wear every single one of these. They are all practical for work and play. ( At least I keep telling myself that! ha! )

Statement Outerwear

I love a bold jacket. I have been eyeing to purchase one over the last several weeks. Here are my favorites.

How awesome are these booties, too?

I am wanting a new Vince leather jacket, too. I need to tell the hubby to add it to the Christmas list. ha! I have had black for so many years, but I am realllllllly loving this grey/taupe color jacket.

Wednesday Ramblings

We went to Pearl Jam last night. It was a pretty good concert! We had a good time with dear friends. Tuesday was a good day. Not only did Sam surprise me with Pearl Jam tickets, but he sends me a post Tuesday morning saying, " This was just delivered. I hope it makes your day." Boy! Did it ever! I can't wait to put a ring on it in ten days! :)

I love his ring!

Ready for Pearl Jam!
Gibson and Latimer camo top
Citizen leather skinnies
Gianni Bini brown booties

Love this man!

The concert was so fun!

I love Sherry and Greg!

Besides the point, but I added this adorable H
above the sink and the tile next to the sink was
painted for us. I love both of them so much!

Five for Friday

Not much has been going in my life the last week or so. Sam went on his bachelor party last weekend, and they all had a great time! This week I have been a little under the weather, so I haven't wanted to blog much! Just wanted to update you on a few things... Hope you all have a great weekend!!! SAM AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED IN 15 DAYS!!!!!

1. We got our MARRIAGE LICENSE on Tuesday!!! We are so, so excited!!! :)

2. I bought a gorgeous new lamp for our side table next to the couch. I love it. They had two, but decided for one since our condo is for sale and we will be moving soon anyway. ;)

 3. I finally bought a Rehearsal dinner dress. I have been so, so picky on what I want! I finally decided on this one! I love the fun at the bottom, but love that it still white. I'm the bride, so of course, I get to wear white two nights in a row, right? :)

4. This cup just makes me happy. I drink out of my tervis tumblers all the time, so when I saw this one, I knew I had to have it... :)

5. I lovvvvveee my J.Crew puffer vests SO much...When I saw they came out with these two, I knew I had to have both. I've seen EVERYONE with them, but I don't care. I quickly ordered them, and they became a part of the family. :)
