Half Marathon Training..

I am running my very first half marathon the first weekend of December. It's the St. Jude half marathon, so I cannot wait!  I am super nervous, but I know I can do it. I have a lot of support behind me, and wonderful friends who have been running with me. One of the girls is running her second half, and me and Emily are running our very first! Please say a prayer for me over these next several weeks.. I am trying to get as many miles in before the big day! Any suggestions or tips on the day of, let me know! :)

During my run the other evening. I wasn't feeling my Monday
run, but this view helped!

This view couldn't possibly get any better!

I leave you with two quotes that I have kept in my phone.
I constantly go back and look at them!

Happy Running, friends!

Good luck girl!! I would try and get as close to 13 miles during training as you can. Knowing that I had already done 11 really helped me have faith that I was crossing that finish line no matter what. Also, wake up as early as you can the morning of and try and get amped up. Have you breakfast, some coffee, and really get your head ready to just go and run!

I know you'll do awesome, and my favorite mantra during my run was..."Suffer now, and you'll be a half marathoner forever"
