Weekend Recap

We had a low key weekend! Which was nice because the last several weekends have been full of bachelorette and bachelor parties, showers, etc. We also have our last shower next weekend, so it was nice to come home on Friday night and just play it by ear with what we wanted to do. Sam got home kind of early Friday night, so we each had a cocktail and then dined at a new spot on Overton Square called Ecco. We had heard several things about this place and how good it was, so we decided to try it! They have only been open for four months, so they don't have their liquor license yet, but we shared a bottle of Meiomi and it of course, was delicious. We started with an awesome meat and cheese tray. I am not usually a big fan of olives, but for some reason, I loved their olive spread and the plentiful amount of olives served with all the prosciutto, salami, croissants, and cheese. For dinner, we both got the salmon. It was delicious! We will definitely be visiting Ecco again!

The awesome meat/cheese dish.

Date night with my favorite boy.

Saturday, Sam went into the office for awhile to catch up on paperwork. We are leaving for Florida in 8 days, so he wants to get caught up as much as he can before the wedding festivities start! We had tickets to the Grizzlies first pre-season game, so we grabbed dinner at Rizzo's Diner and then hopped on over to the Fed Ex Forum. It was a great game, we won! After the game, we acted like tourists and bar hopped with some friends around Beale before calling it a night...

Sam managed to put this together Saturday, too. We will
stand under this gorgeous cross, in the beautiful white sand,
and say our vows to each other. I can't wait to get the
white flowers and burlap on it! It's going to look so great!

Go Grizzlies!!

Catching a drink, or two, or three with this
sweet girl. :)

It cut the whole picture off, but these are
our awesome cozies! I can't wait for each guest
to get one! :)

It was a great weekend with friends and family. I am SO looking forward to marrying my fiancé in less than two weeks! :)

You must be getting so excited! That cross is going to be so pretty. My cousin did that for her outdoor wedding in the woods and it was breathtaking.
