How bad do you want it?

Because I have been lacking in the blogging world, a lot of you may not know that I recently turned my life around in January. I posted awhile back of my weight loss journey and what I was eating and drinking, but man how things have changed since the beginning of the summer...Just when I thought I could not push myself any more or step up my game plan, I did. It has also helped that I have gained so many new friends this summer who motivate and push me. There is no better feeling than having a group of people who make a positive impact on your life...That my friends, is special... With that being said, I am going to be updating you on different recipes, eating plans, work out plans, etc. I also want to say that I'm not a nutritionist and I'm not saying this plan will work for everyone, but it works for ME. I still have a long way to go, but I am so excited how far I have come...This summer I worked out five days a week...I rarely worked out over the weekend, but I did do an occasional bike ride or run. I also worked out twice some days. Go ahead and say it..I'm addicted.....Well, my friends, you are probably correct. I LOVE the way I feel after a work out. I don't always love the early mornings, but I have NEVER once regretted a workout....Can you say you have? I didn't think so.. ;) When I started back in January, I didn't have a CLUE what I was doing. I was used to cardio and knew how to use the elliptical and treadmills, but as far as anything else, I was clueless. I didn't have a clue how to use the machines and wouldn't dare use the weights, because I didn't want to get big and bulky. ha! Little did I know...... I now do cardio every day along with my strength training/circuit training... I LOVE using weights... It is amazing how different your body looks after just a short time. I am also learning to not always let that ugly number on the scale get you down.... I am learning that inches are everything...And boy do I love when I measure my waist, thighs, hips, etc, and I loose another inch or two... Working out is so important in toning and re-defining your body, but if I can say only one thing, it's this... Your DIET IS EVERYTHING. If you eat bad all the time, there is no amount of exercise that you can do.... You HAVE to eat healthy. Life is all about choices and sometimes there are situations that we can't control and they are out of our hands, but you CAN CONTROL what you put in your mouth...Make a good CHOICE. It's not easy and there are days that I question myself, but I never give up... So, go ahead and ask yourself, "How bad do you want it??"

I have dropped around 30 pounds since January. I did not
measure myself at the beginning, so I'm not sure how many inches
I have actually lost, but I went from a size 14 to a size 10.
I still want to lose about twenty more pounds and then start toning
and defining my body even more... It feels good to be half way there :)
I cannot believe that I am posting my before and after picture on
my blog, but this is where I write and post everything that
happens in my life... This is a huge milestone for me, so it's
going on the blog. Simple as that... If you don't agree,
I'm sorry, but this is simply for me to look back and appreciate...
