Wedding Invitations & Save the Dates

I am so behind on updating you with all of my awesome Wedding stuff, so I need to get busy! I want to make sure I document it all, so I can remember EVERYTHING. My mom has been amazing. She has been planning, coordinating, emailing, etc. I'm so thankful to have a mom who is so organized and loves taking control! ha! Anyway, I wanted to share my awesome wedding invitations with you! I received an email from The American Wedding with 40% off, so I checked it out. They had AMAZING deals and TONS to choose from! I immediately sat down and started going through them all. Our colors are navy, so I knew I wanted to have navy somewhere in them. I am also very simple. I guess that is why I named the blog, "The SIMPLE life of Delta Daisies," because I don't like "fru fru." I never have! I wanted something clean, simple, and to the point. This is what we decided on:

I love,love,love them! I can't wait to actually get them and see what they look like in person! I know invitations are not a big deal, but I have to say....I'm quite excited about these! 

We also ordered, "Save the Date," cards from The American Wedding. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on save the dates because I think it's kind of a silly thing anyway, but I knew with us having a destination wedding, I needed to do it! We are, of course, changing the colors, but this is the design we picked! I am so,so excited about both!
