Weekend Recap..

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Sam and I traveled to visit his family this weekend. It was a whole lot of fun!! The weather was a little warm, but I figured it would be..We visited, drank, ate, drank some more, ate some more, and napped...It was glorious... ;) Here are a few photos from the weekend...

We left extremely early on Friday morning. I HAD

to stop by Starbucks and get a "pick me up."

I was SO excited about the red cups..

Hellooooo, Holiday season!!

 

On the way out of town, we stopped by Sam's

hunting club. We had to check on the wheat he

is growing. It's about that time, guys. ;)

I introduce you to " Taj Ma Haynie." It only

makes sense to people that know him..This is his

really awesome deer stand..He built it all

by himself.

We arrived late afternoon. We sat around with his

family and enjoyed the conversation. We eventually

unloaded our bags, ate some dinner, and then headed

outside. We built a bon-fire and enjoyed some vino.

Perfect way to start the weekend.

Saturday morning, we got up and got dressed.

I wore my new J.Crew quilted vest, J.Crew chambray

denim shirt, and Gap green jeans. I did not want to

wear boots because it was too warm, so I just paired

it with some revas. Simple, but comfy.

Beautiful Saturday! We spent the whole day outside.

Saturday night, we were exhausted. We made

another bon-fire, watched the Alabama game,

enjoyed some cabernet, and  made s'mores

with Sam's little cousin. He has the CUTEST cousins.

 

I swapped my revas for my slippers. Can't beat that.

 

 

Perfect way to end the weekend...

 

Bliss..

 

I love traveling, but it is always nice to come home.

I have a lot to do this week before my best friend's

wedding next weekend! I only work Monday, Tuesday,

and Wednesday this week, so it will be nice

to get some things done before her wedding

on Saturday. I plan to rest, catch up on laundry,

grade papers, etc.  Hello, Fall Break! :)
