Toe Drama..

I have been having many,many problems with ingrown toenails over the past six months. I kept getting them and had NO idea why. I finally made an appointment with the podiatrist and went today. I was so nervous! I just KNEW it was going to hurt, be painful, etc. I LOVED the doctor! He was so nice and very personal. Long story short, we figured out why I have been getting them SO much! A year ago, my toenail was wripped off at a festival. Over time, the nail started to grow back, but was not growing the right way....Who would have known?! The doctor went in, numbed it, cut the ingrown out, and then killed the root of the nail. He said it will keep the nail from growing into my toe, thank goodness! Over-all, I am glad I went. I should have gone awhile back!

Beach Trip.

My Spring Break is the third week of March and we are planning on going to the beach. I CANNOT wait...I seriously am looking forward to some fun in the sun! Christin and her husband are planning on going with us, but I seriously need to do some shopping! I want to take some fun dresses, etc. I have been browsing online some. I know what I'm looking for, so I designed some cute ideas on Polyvore. I want some fun, but comfortable dresses to take with me! I love rompers, jump suits, dresses, etc. I also like to take stuff that packs well. I do not like to take anything that needs lots and lots of ironing!! Let me know if you run across some cute Beach dresses, but until then, I want to share with you what I came up with! :)

1. I love this look..I love a striped dress, bright

handbag, and cute, comfy sandal. This would

be perfect to wear during the day or even at night

to a casual restaurant. I already have the sandals!

2. I love a cute romper! I already have this shoe and handbag,

so I need to grab this Rachel Roy romper, and I have an outfit!

I think this would be so cute for dinner one night!

3. I love white jeans..period...There is nothing cuter

in the Spring/Summer than white jeans and an adorable

blousy top with wedges. I love everything about this look.

I think it would be a perfect outfit for the beach. I already

have the white jeans and wedges.

4. I love everything about a simple Maxi dress.

Black is my go to color, so I would love this for the beach.

I also like to pair black and brown together, so this

would be a perfect outfit! I already have these sandals

and purse, so I just need to find a black Maxi dress now!

5. I love a great GREEN dress!

Green is SO fun and is actually ONE color I can wear.

I have to stay away from corals, oranges, pinks, yellows, etc.

I am looking for a BRIGHT GREEEN dress to wear with my

Vince Camuto brown wedges. I love everything about this!

6. I have a long black Maxi skirt that I have not worn yet.

I think it would be perfect at the beach. Like I said,

I LOVE black....I already have the shoes, skirt, and handbag.

I'm pretty sure I have a cute top to pair with it, too..

7. I really want a color block top! I think it

would be perfect for the beach. :)

8. I love everything about coral...I cannot wear

anything coral on the top because of my hair color, but

I think I could pull off coral colored jeans! :)

I hope you all liked some of my ideas that I'm thinking. I also want to find a white linen dress if possible, coral and green jeans, something in turquoise, etc. 

Sam's Birthday!

Today is my wonderful boyfriend's birthday! We had a WONDERFUL weekend. It was full of things planned, but I would have not changed it for the world. Friday night, we met some of my family for a grub type dinner and a few cocktails. It was fun, but I am ALWAYS tired on Friday nights, so we did not stay out late...Saturday morning, I treated S to breakfast at Cracker Barrel...We love that place. ha! Saturday afternoon, Sam and I headed to Gould's for our hour an a half massage. It was DIVINE and we both desperately needed one.  Saturday night, we had a very fun night out with our friends! Sam wanted  to dine at Interim in East Memphis, so we met for dinner and then grabbed some drinks at Brookhaven Pub afterwards. I LOVE that place! It's all locals, so it's so much fun. Sunday, we grabbed some lunch with two of our bestfriends and hung out for a bit. The weather was so nice yesterday! Sunday night, we celebrated with family by enjoying some pizza and bowling! We had a great night! It was so nice to have today off, so I could rest from the weekend. Sam ALSO took the day off, so I'm glad I got to spend his actual birthday with him. I LOVE celebrating birthdays! I feel like I have eaten ALL weekend, so I will be getting back on scheldule starting tomorrow! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Valentine's Day Recap..

I know I am a bit behind, but wanted to update you on my Valentine's Day! We had a wonderful time and it was so much fun! S and I decided to eat at Restaurant Iris on Monday night to avoid all the craziness, etc. It was a super nice dinner and very quiet! We had a wonderful time. I ordered the Delta Shrimp and Grits and S had the lamb. We both took some home! ;) Tuesday night, we hung out at my parents and my Mom cooked us a very yummy dinner! S and I also decided to get a massage this past weekend, so that was part of our Valentine gift to eachother as well ;)

Weekend Recap..

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was very busy, but loads of fun!! Friday night, Sam and I went to Alchemy for the second time. It is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants. I love that everything is small plates. We got several yummy dishes. We stopped by Bayou Bar to catch the end of the Grizzlies game before heading home. Saturday, we caught up on the DVR and enjoyed some pizza while we lounged :) It was a very nice lazy Saturday. Saturday night, I had a girls' night planned! I was pumped. We all went out to Christin's house for some yummy food and vino. We played games, drank, ate, sang, and talked. It was a great night! Sunday morning, Christin and I got up and headed to Cracker Barrel. It was divine!  I am hoping we get some snowy weather, so I have a day off from work tomorrow ;) That would be super awesome!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! :)

Valentine Day Outfit Ideas...

Many of you have reservations on Valentines night with your "special someone." If you're like me, I always like to dress for whatever holiday it is. Sam and I plan on going to dinner somewhere, but have not decided yet. I've been thinking about what I can wear to dinner...I have to work all day that day, so I want something somewhat simple ;) I designed some outfits on Polyvore, so you could get some ideas. Here are some designs for all of us to copy for your "special" dinner out! ;)

1. If you're going somewhere dressy or fancy.

Super Bowl Sunday..

It was definitely not the typical Super Bowl party that I have ever been to or hosted, but I'm housesitting/babysitting till Wednesday, so I celebrated with three boys all under the age of 12. :) They were so much fun! We had a good time. I fixed them several dips, a pizza, and some yummy desserts. They loved every minute of it. They also loved getting to stay up late! ha! We were all rooting for the New York Giants. It was such a good game!!! I'm happy that Eli won! I hope you all had a wonderful Super Bowl Sunday!!! :) Have a great week!

I'm Dreaming...

I don't know about you, but we have not had a winter. It's been very,very warm! I wanted some  snow this year! I don't care if it's ONE day, but I would love to have some snow! Until then, I'm dreaming of this....

Birthday Fun!

Last night, S and I went out to celebrate Christin's birthday! We met for pizza and wine at Old Venice and it was SO good. After dinner, we headed to Brookhaven Pub and Grill for a few drinks and to catch the tail end of the Memphis game. Unfortunately they did not win, but it was definitely a good game! It was such a fun night! I paid for it this morning ;) haha..

Makeup Obsession..

I recently ordered some makeup because I was out of a few things..I decided to mix some things up, and try something different...I did an online purchase and picked a few things up in the store..Here is what I bought:

Laura Mercier lipstick

It was a pretty color. I like the texture

of her lipsticks. It is a great

color to carry into the Spring.

Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face cream..

I LOVE this stuff. It is kind of expensive, but SO

worth every penny. I use it in the morning and

before bed. It really holds my makeup on during

the course of the day, and makes my face feel so clean

at night. I LOVE this stufff! I will definitely be buying this stuff again.

Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Balm.

I was not sure about this stuff...

I have excemza really bad on my eye lids, so I cannot

use a whole lot of products. I usually just stick with Aveeno.

The lady at the counter told me to try some samples and see if

I liked it first. This stuff is expensive, so I did not want to buy it

and then turn around and it break my eyes out! I used it for

 two daysand fell in love. I LOVE it. I only use it at night,

because it's so thick,but when I wake up in the morning,

my eyes look so fresh and bright!I love it! I HIGHLY

reccommend this stuff.

Laura Mercier blush I was somewhat disappointed

with this blush. It looked so much prettier online. I don't know if

it is the color I don't like, but I'm not that excited about it.

I definitelywill use it, because I am out of blush, but not sure

if I will order it again..

Bobbi Brown concealer...This is not a new product for me.

I have worn her concealer for years. I was just completely

out of it and finally ordered some! I wear her concealer in

the color Sand and I LOVE it! If you are looking for a concealer

that will stay on you all day, I definitely suggest Bobbi Brown's.

You will love it.

Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil Wash.

I am OBSESSED with this stuff! I know....

Many people are thinking," Why would you ever spend

39.00 for a face wash?!" I will tell you.....My face is OVERLY

dry...A lot of my problem is because of my excema, so I cannot

use a lot of things..I have to be careful with the different

products that are in face washes. I went to the counter

and told the lady at Bobbi Brown my dilemma, and she

 immediately knew what I should try. I did not see the

point in spending that much for a face wash, but now I do...

I use it in the morning and at night and it's so LIGHT!

It has not broken my face out at all and it really

  is helping the dryspots and my excema!

I seriously will never use another face wash.

It feels soooooo good to say that

I have finally found a face wash that was made for ME!

The last product I ordered...Laura Mercier's

Primer Foundation....I was kind of skeptical about

this product. I have always HEARD about it, but

was not too sure about ordering it. I finally caved and

decided to give it a try. All I can say.....I AM SO GLAD

I ORDERED IT! I love this stuff! I am so picky when it comes

to makeup, but I love this primer foundation. I will definitely

not wear my makeup again without this stuff underneath! It is

not heavy at all. It smells good, feels good, and barely feels like

you have anything on....If you are looking for a good

primer foundation,please give Laura Mercier's a try.

It won't dissappoint you! :)
