Life Lately..

I hope you all had a wonderful week! I am so glad to see Friday evening get here...It's been a LONG week. What do you have planned this weekend??? We WERE planning on going to the lake house this weekend, but we decided to stay in Memphis and just relax. First weekend that we've had in AWHILE where we don't have much going on...I'm quite excited about it! Anyway, I'm off to a nice dinner with my boy! ;) Have a good one, folks!

Tuesday night, I went to Flight for a dear friend's birthday.

It was a surprise party, and she was DEFINITELY surprised!

Thursday night, we went to a Tigers game with some

Shoe Addiction..

Last weekend, I took off to run some errands and shop a little. I wanted to find a dress to wear to Kasey and Matt's wedding, so I knew I was after that....By the time I got home a couple hours later, I was carrying a dress and three new pairs of shoes...Apparently it was a shoe shopping kind of day! I love days like that. ;)

I scored these awesome wine colored Marc Fisher

suede booties. They are SO comfortable!

I want them in every color now.

I saw a girl at Macy's wearing these while I was

out shopping. I asked her where she got them and she

said Target! I immediately went to Target.

Lucky me, there was one pair left and it was in my

size....Meant to be.... right?? :)

I HAD to stop by Joseph's on my way home...They

were having their sale going on. I scored ANOTHER

pair of shoes. I bought the brown tumbled leather revas.

Surprisingly, I don't own a brown flat so I needed some!!

Thanksgiving Recap..

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My grandmother and I prepared the dinner, but we hosted it at my parents house. We had a FEAST! It was sooooo good, but I feel like I'm still stuffed. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate a lot!! ;)

Wedding Fun..

Last weekend, S and I went to Kasey and Matt's wedding. It was so much fun to see old friends! We had a great time! Congratulations, Kasey and Matt!!

Two Blessings in Life...

You are probably wondering what I am talking about...Well, I'll tell you.... If you know me in real life, you know that I am a HUGE wino. I love any kind of wine: cabernet, sauvginon blanc, pinot grigio, merlot, etc. I ALSO like ice cream. I could eat mint chocolate chip ice cream any day of the week. I could also have any TCBY's yogurt flavors.. I was browsing Pinterest the other night and I ran across this.....

Apparently, in parts of the United States, they have started making ice cream that tastes like wine!This post is from last summer, so some of you might already know about it, but I sure as heck did not!!!  Not only does it taste like wine, but it has alcohol in it. Whaaaaaaaaaa? I'm seriously not kidding.. Check it out here.. It's not as simple as throwing a bottle of wine and some ice cream in a blender, etc. They have speciality flavors that they have made. There is a video on the website about what they do, too.... What do you think?? I have not made my mind up about it.. I don't even know if it's real yet, but if it is, I'm tempted to buy it and try it... Until next time, cheers! ;)

Boom, Boom, POP!

Man! It has taken everything I have to get back in to my routine! After having two days off last week, getting up in the morning is quite hard. ha! I also did not get much rest over the long weekend because my best friend got married. I am definitely playing catch up now!! I hope you all are having a great week so far. We are half way through it! Hang in there... ;) Anyway, Sunday night we went to Costco to get a few groceries..If you have never been in there, I HIGHLY suggest it. I love that place. I could spend hours in there. It's so nice to buy some things in bulk. We go through several things quickly around here, so we love buying it at Costco. It's not realistic to buy EVERYTHING from there, but for some things, I can justify it....We were making our way around the corner when we saw a man serving popcorn out of a cart. It just looked like a big bag of popcorn to me, but I had to try it anyway..To my amazement, it was delicious! I LOVED it. S liked it, too. It is NEVER a good idea to go to the grocery store when you are hungry, but I KNEW I would not be upset with this purchase. When we got to the car, we immediately opened the bag and ate some on the way home...*insert shameful look*..... Many of you have probably already had this stuff, but I HAD to share. It's 35 calories per serving, but you can have FOUR cups for 140 calories! You can't beat that. Also, it is made with sea salt and has ALL ingredients that you can actually READ and UNDERSTAND. Get you some Boom Chicka Pop.... How awesome is the name??? ;)

Parker/Eubanks Wedding 11-10-12

My bestfriend got married yesterday....It so hard to believe she has a different last name now. It's so hard to believe that she doesn't live HERE anymore..It all hit me last night..We all are getting older and it's obvious. We all are meeting our significant others, getting married, having babies, moving away, etc. I'm not going to be sad that she doesn't live around the corner anymore..I'm going to be happy for her! She has a WONDERFUL husband, great in laws, an awesome sister in law, etc. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Natalie and Worth! I am so excited for them and cannot wait to see what their journey holds. We love you guys! Congratulations!
