For all you Bachelorette (Roberto) lovers...

I am so sorry I haven't blogged in awhile! My life has been so hectic the past week ANYWAY...Who watched The Bachelorette Monday night??? I think everyone on Twitter knows I did ;) I was never a huge fan of Ali from the season before, but after watching her Monday night prance around in a cheap & ugly dress, gross hair extensions, a horrible makeup job, and a laugh that sounds like fingernails being scraped across a chalkboard; I KNOW I don't like her now..And her shoulders????? What the heck was she doing?? She looked like a robot! Put your arms down sweetie! I'll get off my high horse and quit bashing the poor girl, but I feel overall, this season is just horrible. Horrible girl, horrible group of guys, horrible story lines, etc..EXCEPT...ROBERTO MARTINEZ...He's gorgeous & he received the first impression rose, duh! Who wouldn't have given him the rose?? He salsa danced with her! I'm anxious to see where these guys place in the rose ceremonies....DO NOT READ AHEAD IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ A SPOILER.. I REPEAT, DO NOT READ AHEAD IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ A SPOILER...Apparently, Reality Steve suggests/believes Chris,( the landscpaer), and Roberto make it to the final two...Could it be?? I guess we will have to find out! :) I also heard Ty makes it to the final 5, "Rated R" makes it to the 6th episode, and Frank decides he loves his ex-girlfriend still...oh ABC, you make me laugh....I hope you all continue to watch & see who "Extension girl" decides to pick! ;)

Toyota Highlander

I was at Fresh Market earlier this afternoon and parked next to a Limited Toyota Highlander. I was beyond impressed with the body style, and how far they have come over the years. They are now the size of a 4-Runner, but are very sporty! I have never been a fan of Toyota vehicles, but this SUV will definitely be kept into consideration when I graduate from college and go car shopping!! :) The "bells & whistles" will obviously have to be included, but I looked up the price of a "loaded" Highlander, and once again, impressed....They are very reasonable, but even better, GREAT GAS MILEAGE!! If you are currently car hunting, I HIGHLY suggest you to check out the Toyota Highlander! Here's a few pictures of the new body style:

Nails, Nails, Nails.

It's here..Summer 2010 OPI Shrek Collection..I'll be honest,I was a little weirded out at the thought of finger nail polish being named after the character Shrek, but after seeing several of these colors on different people, I fell in love! I absolutely love Fiercely Fiona, Funky Dunkey, and What's with the Cattitude? I plan to visit my nail salon this week & have my nails painted one of these three colors! I'll be sure and let you all know how they turn out ;)

Necklace addiction..

I love necklaces! I often catch myself planning my outfits around my jewelry. When I got home this evening; I browsed the internet for items on my wish list..I'm looking for several chunky pieces to add to my summer collection. I love a bulky necklace with a simple cotton dress. Target has come out with several cute pieces the past few months, but I'm sick of seeing their jewelry all over town. Everyone has the EXACT same stuff, especially if you live in Memphis and shop at the Colonial one. (ha!) I decided to hop over to Ann Taylor Loft's website, and to my surprise...WOW! They have a ton of cute pieces that are affordable & pretty! You can never have too much jewelry, so I strongly suggest you to take a peek at their line! I was HIGHLY impressed! S and I are running errands tomorrow, so I will be hitting up the LOFT while we are out and about! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! BBQ Fest had a solid turnout here in Memphis, but I must say.. I'm honestly ready for Memphis in May weekends to END! Downtown has been a mad house for the past three weeks, and when you spend the majority of your time down there it gets old...QUICK! I'm sick of all the traffic and closed off roads..:(

TOMS Sneakers

TOMS Sneakers....I'm not sure how I feel about this trend, but I see them ALL OVER THE PLACE! I have no idea what the fuss is all about, but people are wearing them everywhere. Just the other day at Panera, I ran into a guy who had them on with his scrubs. Girls wear them with dresses, shorts, and jeans...really?? Maybe I need to get with it and buy me a pair of TOMS Sneakers..What do you think??? Suggestions? :)

For all you Yogurt lovers :)

How many of you love yogurt??? I could eat it everyday, all day..I have tried all kinds of yogurts, but have recently found one that I absolutely love!! I'm a sucker for anything strawberry, so when I see strawberry yogurts, I snatch them up! Chobani Greek Yogurt is like heaven in your mouth, no joke! ;) I haven't been able to find it at Kroger, Walmart, or Target..BUT...Costco, Whole Foods, and Fresh Market carry it. Buying it at Costco is great, because you can buy it by the bulk, yeah! They have all different kinds of flavors, but the strawberry is phenomenal. I HIGHLY recommend you to try it out! I eat it every morning before I start my day, and call me goofy, but it makes my day that much better! :) It's even wonderful as a snack!

Praxis Exam.

Hey guys! Did any of you have to take an oral exam or paper exam before you can graduate from college?? Well....I do! :( Praxis Exam, Praxis Exam, Praxis Exam....BLAH! I have been a nervous wreck all day, because I am taking it in the morning at 8am. I'm not sure why I am worrying so much, because everyone I have talked to has told me to "QUIT WORRYING!" I'm a horrible Math student, so I am freaking out about all the percentages, integers, fractions, geometry, and calculus problems...Call me crazy, I know! My boyfriend and I ordered a pizza and are settling down to help me go over practice questions before tomorrow...he's the best!! :) He's just a brain when it comes to Math..He makes me SICK! I will be so glad when all of the testing, interviewing, and screening will be over. It seems like the light at the end of the tunnel is just not close enough sometimes! HA! My Mother keeps telling me to push forward and keep a positive attitude, because anything is possible if you put your mind to it ;) She's such a huge part of me!

What challenges and fears have you had to deal with??

Happy Town

My dear friend told me about this show & I couldn't help myself. I fell in love with it after the first episode. If you were a Harper's Island lover last summer, you will definitely love Happy Town. It comes on at 9pm on Wednesday evenings. I'm obsessed. I'm a sucker for mysteries that contain violence and murders..Call me weird, I know! The main characters are awesome, and I catch myself already guessing what will happen next...

Summer Lover.

I have recently realized how much I love the summer time. The freshly cut grass, flowers, spending the weekends at the lake, being able to throw on a pair of flip flops and a summer dress, and the numerous weekend getaways all have a huge part in why I LOVE Summer! I catch myself at the end of each Spring semester of school "slacking," because I can't wait to be OUTTT! I've found a nanny position to keep me busy throughout the summer months and also put money in the bank! I have several items on my "wish list."
